The Labour Education Centre’s (LEC) 30th Anniversary was held on September 20, 2018. It was an evening of celebration that featured a trip down memory lane capturing the essence of the labour movement. Among those in attendance were both current and past staff members, activists, partners and clients sharing experiences from the last 30 years.

There were panel discussions featuring clients who shared their path to success with the support of LEC staff while activists and leaders shared their insights for the future and how LEC will position itself to be at the forefront of the labour movement and continue to serve clients through its current capacity and programming. To close the evening, LEC hosted an awards ceremony to recognize its partners and clients who had contributed to LEC’s vision and mandate. We thank all those who participated in this
wonderful event.
